Yeah so I baked these last night on a whim, mainly because the ingredients were all in the kitchen. I read through a couple of web recipes, but the best one was this. The only trouble I’ve been having is with my Chinese oven. While it’s great with roasting meats, etc., there is something off when it comes to baking – mainly with the temperature I believe. Need to get a thermometer. While the cookies turned out FAB – soft yet crunchy – the base got a bit burnt. Need to also get hold of some parchment paper for the next batch!
