Wontons or Huntuns are dumplings served in hot steaming bowls of soup. More than a hearty meal! This is a common dish in China, and mega perfect for winter mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights. These dumplings are usually filled with pork and vegetables, sometimes even shrimp. My favourite spot for some delicious, juicy wonton soup is this joint on Xinchang Lu. Their soup is absolutely beautiful, with subtle burnt-onion flavour. Their servings are generous, and a bowl at approx. 10 RMB is more than enough to fill you up! Try it, at least once, to know the truth behind the awesomeness of wontons!
